Intro

The Champion series is Böckmann's robust anodized aluminum class. Created for horses up to either 1.75m/17 hands at the withers, or up to 1.85m/18hands, the Champion models offer standard features like stall wall padding, and chests bar foam covers. Well protected by the anodization process, the Champion models are cool, sleek and sporty with all the standard Böckmann safety features for horse and rider.

All models offer adjustable stall bars, hay net rings, trailer tie rings, stall lighting, tinted pop-out windows, and a rear ramp entry as standard. Rear door combinations are possible as an accessory on the Champion R models and standard on the Big Champion WCF models.

The walls are in standard matte silver colour. The polyester portions of the trailers (roof and bow in Champion R) are also in a standard silver colour. Fourteen other standard polyester colours are available: 6 at no surcharge including metallic colours of black, dark red, dark blue, hunter green,and brown plus a bright white; 8 colours at a small surcharge including flame red, bright yellow, royal blue, magenta, bright green, deep orange, silver grey and slate gray.

Construction

Chassis, Body, Interior

Chassis:

Built on a hot-dipped galvanized steel chassis, the Champion R rides on the Comfortable Suspension Chassis System (CFF- Plus)- an independent torsion suspension with added shocks for a smooth ride for the horse. The Big Champion E & SKA ride on the elite WCF, coil spring suspension with trailing arms and added shock. An automatic jockey wheel mounted on an integrated lockable 2" coupler allows the rider to easily raise or lower the chassis frame for hitching purposes and moving the trailer by hand around the yard.

Body:

Anodized aluminum web profile panel side walls- 1500 mm high (Champion R) and 1700mm high (Big CHampion E & SKA)- always a silver finish-topped with a metallic silver roof. Different roof colours are available (accessory). A flat front profile on the C model, or a rounded fibreglass front on the R model, which houses the saddle chest. Single plastic fenders, two pop-out tinted windows, decoration stripes on the side wall, with a decor by Jan Künster, completes the look. All trailers for North America come with a mounted full spare wheel.

Interior:

The inner stall area has a bright white inner roof colour. The loading ramp is covered with rubber integrated safety treads and side stops - preventing slipping in inclement weather. The Multi-Safe Stall system allows you to adjust height of the stall bars and the length of the stall. In an emergency the chest bars can be released from outside the trailer. Interior lighting is found in both the stall area and tack storage. Black lateral kick plates and stall pads complete the inside stall walls. The Saddle Chest options are shown in Photos 2 and 13.

Champion Uno

A trailer for a single horse, the Champion Uno offers both a simple horse box model or one with a saddle storage (see Photo 2 tack compartment). Suitable for a single full draft horse, or mare & foal, the width is equivalent to a stall and a half of a regular Champion R

The trailer front is flat on the Champion Uno C.

Champion C

Offering a simple horse box, the Champion C does not come with a saddle storage. Suitable for 2 horses to 17hh, there is space for you to stand ahead of the chest bars.

Champion R

A sporty horse trailer for two horses with saddle storage, the Champion R does it with style! Offered with either and English or Western Tack cupboard- your choice!

The Saddle Chest option offers 2 saddle racks- Either English or Western - hooks, 1 shelf, broom, shovel and door net, as seen in Photo 13.

Step up conversion and attached folding mounting step is an option!

Big Champion E & SKA

NEW Design in 2022 - A stylish horse trailer for two horses with saddle storage, the Big Champion accommodates horses up to 18 hands. Taller entrance doors from its predecessor, a re-designed tack cupboard and a larger internal feel, the Step-up conversion is now a standard feature.

Offered in two models - the E version and the SKA version. The SKA models offer either an English or Western Tack package.
